Event Details
The Credit One Charleston Open, the largest women’s-only tennis tournament in North America and the kickoff to clay season on the WTA Hologic Tour, will return for its 52nd year March 30 – April 7, 2024 on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. The highly anticipated tournament will feature more than 100 of the world’s top tennis players and welcome back fans to the recently renovated Credit One Stadium. Ticket packages and single-session tickets are available for purchase at creditonecharlestonopen.com.
The 2024 player field already includes several top-ranked players. World No. 7, three-time Grand Slam finalist and 2023 Charleston champion Ons Jabeur will make her return to the Lowcountry, alongside World No. 5 Jessica Pegula and past champion Madison Keys.
Elevated on-site entertainment, upgraded food and beverage options and interactive activations will keep the action going beyond the court in 2024. Returning to the tournament grounds is the popular tennis-focused Fan Zone with USTA South Carolina, which will feature hands-on activities for both kids and adults. Under the large oaks, “Charleston’s Living Room” will host an upscale dining and lounging retreat featuring live music and lively conversation, sponsored by The Charleston Place.
Special discounts are available for juniors, seniors, USTA, and military members. Juniors, 16 and under, are granted complimentary general admission seating, courtesy of Credit One Bank, with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Event Details
Imagine not being able to shower or otherwise clean yourself for days, or even weeks, at a time. Imagine not having the means to obtain a healthy, nutritious, hot meal, and being lucky to find a few scraps of bread per day. Imagine not even having a shirt on your back to protect you from the hot summer sun or the frosty winter nights. Unfortunately, for many people, these are not situations that need to be imagined; this is their reality- and for many, part of that reality is being too humiliated to ask for help in these positions.
However, just because one may be embarrassed to ask for help in an underprivileged state does not mean that he or she is not worthy of receiving help. Jean’s Angels knows that people in underprivileged situations did not ask to be in these situations, and they are deserving of compassion and decency.
Our shower provides underprivileged individuals with warm clothes, a nutritious meal, and a refreshing shower to help get them back on their feet. There is no judging, finger-pointing, or assuming of anything about an individual’s character when that individual walks into our shower. These things are not our concern. Rather, our concern is to assist these people and reinstate their dignity- and their feeling of self-worth.

The Flowertown Festival is the Y’s premiere fundraiser founded in 1973 to support health and wellness programs at the Y. Every spring, thousands of people visit Summerville to see nature’s bounty awash in color, from the hot pink azaleas, to the purple wisteria, to the delicate white dogwood.

Berkeley County is famous for its Revolutionary War connections, not only serving as the setting for 32 of the war’s over 200 battle sites in South Carolina, but also two prominent military leaders: General Francis Marion and General William Moultrie. Notorious for his “Swamp Fox” nickname, Marion and his militia were known for hiding in area swamps and launching bloody, surprise attacks on the British Redcoats.
Join us as we explore the Patriots victories and defeats on Berkeley County battlefields.
Tour will start at the Berkeley Museum, 950 Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Cars will caravan to each location. Stops include Fort Fair Lawn, Mepkin, Biggin Church, Wadboo and Quinby. Lunch included.

Berkeley County is famous for its Revolutionary War connections, not only serving as the setting for 32 of the war’s over 200 battle sites in South Carolina, but also two prominent military leaders: General Francis Marion and General William Moultrie.
